Hi guys. Love the comments above! I couldn't walk on my own until the age of four and I have now run several marathons - so don't listen to people who tell you, "It cannot be done."

I was born with CP, but kept my condition a secret to join the Navy and in fact kept my condition a secret for my entire twenty year career retiring in 2002 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer.

I also wanted to let you know that I am written my memoir. It titled Someone Like Me-An Unlikely Story of Challenge and Triumph Over Cerebral Palsy. Check out my website for more info. It is set to be launched 15 April 2010.

Take a look and let me know what you think.

Keep charging!

Sincerely - John Quinn

Wow - what an inspiring video! We are just beginning our journey with CP. No official diagnosis, yet, for our son. This video was sad, but at the same time, a joy to watch. We have a long road ahead of us and need positive, encouraging information. Thank you for sharing.
