My daughter is one of those chosen few to have been blessed with Eric Hunter 7 years ago on Jan 2nd. She says he is not handicapped and he just does things another way. It has been difficult for her to adapt. As her mother who watched her fight leukemia at age 7 -10 it is particularly difficult. I will add that anything we go through is not nearly as hard as Eric's struggles. The fact that I am a nurse makes things more frustrating as we search for answers.
